ACID STAIN SYSTEM

The Acid Stain System enhances old and new concrete surfaces by creating multi-hued coloring effects that resemble the look of marble, weathered leather, natural stone or seascape blues and greens.

These colors are created by a chemical reaction between the blended metallic salts in the acid stain, and the hydrated lime in the surface of the hardened concrete.

Acid Stains are becoming increasingly popular among homeowners, business owners and architects by providing a new, decorative alternative to traditional types of flooring.

Some of the advantages of acid stained floors include: the ability to use the existing concrete surface, endless custom design possibilities, lower cost, less maintenance and each job is unique.

CONCRETE DYES

Concrete dye is a translucent, deep penetrating, permanent, micronized and non-reactive organic pigment coloring method used to provide life and character to any interior concrete surface.

Concrete dyes penetrate deep into the concrete slab or overlay surface and permeates the pores of the substrate leaving no film or coating to be worn away.

Concrete dyes are becoming more frequently used because, while similar in effect to stains, they cause less mess. Dyes dry quickly, do not need rinsing, and can be sealed the same day.
